The Rio Gallegos , famous for its sea run browns and theRio Serrano , inside the „Torres del Paine“ Nationalpark, well known for its huge Chinook salmon is another highly-appreciated destination among the Patagonian anglers. We are offering this program that takes you off the beaten path, away from of classic lodge-style fishing and its fancy cuisine.
We offer authentic fly fishing trips in a rustic atmosphere instead. All pools are either accessible by 4×4 vehicles or short walks.
Amidst an impressive scenery of the ‘Torres del Paine’ National Park, the river Serrano drains a vast number of lakes and creeks into the Pacific Ocean.
During December and March, the Chinook salmon run the river, weighing up to 45lbs. The Serrano has fast currents with turquoise waters and is best fished with Spey rods in line weights 10-11 with and skagit set up.
